Usually performed by forming a “circle” is a Southeast European dance form known as Diplos Horos. This “group” dance is supposed to have originated from a regional unit called Messenia located in Greece. Furthermore, in this dance style a simple formation known as “sta tria” is used. In addition, this dance along with the accompanying music also includes a Greek song known as “Διπλό Χορό Χορεύουμε, Διπλά Τραγούδια Λέμε”.

In terms of technique, the performers in this dance initially arrange themselves in a circle. Furthermore, the performers then dance to the rhythm of the accompanying music by holding hands. As for training centers/schools, there are none available around the world since this “group” dance is mainly performed in Greece.
